Thank you for choosing Big Stretch Reptiles & More LLC (“Big Stretch Reptiles,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The health and safety of our animals is extremely important to us. We strive to provide healthy, accurately represented animals, quality reptile supplies, safe shipping practices, and clear communication with our customers.

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

LIVE ANIMAL SALES
All live animals offered for sale are believed to be healthy and feeding regularly before leaving our care unless otherwise specifically disclosed in the animal's listing.
Photos and descriptions are intended to represent each animal as accurately as possible. Natural changes in coloration, pattern, size, and appearance may occur as an animal grows.
Buyers are responsible for researching the species they purchase and ensuring they have appropriate housing, temperatures, humidity, diet, and other husbandry requirements prepared before the animal arrives.
All live-animal sales are final except where a refund or replacement is specifically provided under our Live Arrival or Health Guarantee.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
Big Stretch Reptiles guarantees live arrival when all requirements of this policy are followed.
The buyer must provide a complete and accurate shipping address and must be available to receive the animal at the agreed-upon delivery location. For residential delivery, someone must be available for the first delivery attempt. For shipments held at an authorized carrier facility, the animal must be picked up promptly after becoming available.
The buyer must inspect the animal immediately upon receipt.
If an animal arrives deceased (DOA) or appears seriously compromised upon arrival, Big Stretch Reptiles must be contacted within ONE (1) HOUR of the carrier-recorded delivery or pickup time.
Clear photographs and/or video of the animal must be provided. We may also request photographs or video of the shipping box, packaging materials, and the condition in which the shipment arrived.
Do not dispose of the animal or shipping materials until we confirm that they are no longer needed.
When a valid Live Arrival Guarantee claim is confirmed, Big Stretch Reptiles will provide, at our discretion, either (1) a full refund of the purchase price of the affected animal plus the original shipping charge paid for that animal, or (2) a comparable replacement animal of mutually acceptable characteristics and value, subject to availability, with replacement shipping provided at no additional cost to the buyer. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

WHEN THE LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE DOES NOT APPLY
The Live Arrival Guarantee may be void when an issue results from circumstances within the buyer's control, including an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the buyer, nobody being available for the first scheduled delivery attempt, failure to promptly collect a package being held for pickup, failure to report a problem within the required one-hour period, or improper handling after delivery.
The guarantee may also be void if the buyer requests shipment contrary to our recommendation because of unsafe weather or other conditions.

SHIPPING LIVE ANIMALS
The safety of the animal determines when we ship.
Live animals will only be shipped using an appropriate live-animal shipping service and packaging. We reserve the right to select the carrier, service level, shipment date, and whether shipment should be made to an authorized carrier hub or residential address when necessary for animal safety.
We may delay shipment because of extreme temperatures, storms, carrier disruptions, holidays, or any other condition we believe could jeopardize the animal.
A weather delay is not considered a failure to fulfill an order. We will communicate with the buyer and arrange the next reasonably safe shipping date.

HEALTH GUARANTEE
Big Stretch Reptiles guarantees that our animals are believed to be healthy when they leave our care.
We provide a 7-day health guarantee beginning on the carrier-recorded delivery or pickup date. The Health Guarantee applies to a serious illness, injury, or death that is reasonably determined to have resulted from a condition that existed prior to delivery. If a claim is approved under this guarantee, Big Stretch Reptiles will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund of the animal's purchase price or a comparable replacement animal, at our discretion and subject to availability.
Any health concern must be reported to us as soon as it is noticed and within the seven-day guarantee period.
Depending upon the circumstances, we may request photographs or video of the animal, information regarding enclosure setup and husbandry, feeding information, temperatures and humidity, and/or documentation from a licensed exotic-animal veterinarian.
The health guarantee does not cover illness, injury, or death resulting from improper husbandry, incorrect temperatures or humidity, improper feeding, accidents, interaction with other animals, escape, neglect, or other conditions occurring after the animal enters the buyer's care.

GENETICS, MORPHS, TRAITS & LINEAGE DISCLAIMER
Big Stretch Reptiles & More LLC makes every reasonable effort to provide accurate information regarding the genetics, morph, traits, parentage, lineage, and phenotype of each animal offered for sale. Any genetic information provided is based upon the information reasonably available to us at the time of sale, which may include the animal's physical appearance, known parentage, breeding records, lineage information, and information provided by previous breeders or sellers.
Except for genetic traits expressly represented as confirmed in the individual animal's listing, Big Stretch Reptiles does not guarantee that an animal possesses, carries, or will reproduce any particular genetic trait, gene, genotype, heterozygous trait, polygenic characteristic, or combination of genetic traits. Possible, probable, suspected, unproven, or otherwise uncertain genetics are not guaranteed.
Animals represented as possible het, probable het, suspected, unproven, or otherwise genetically uncertain are sold with that uncertainty expressly acknowledged. Such descriptions represent our good-faith assessment or the lineage information available to us and are not guarantees that the animal will prove to possess or reproduce the trait.
The appearance or phenotype of an animal does not necessarily establish its complete genotype. Likewise, offspring produced from an animal may not conclusively establish every genetic characteristic attributed to that animal.
Where an animal's genetics or lineage originated with another breeder, Big Stretch Reptiles may provide that information to the buyer in good faith but cannot independently guarantee information that cannot reasonably be genetically verified.
No guarantee is made regarding future breeding results. The purchase of an animal represented as having particular genetics, lineage, breeding history, or reproductive potential does not guarantee that the animal will breed, reproduce, produce viable offspring, pass a particular trait to offspring, or produce offspring of any particular appearance, morph, sex, genotype, or value.
Buyers are encouraged to review all available photographs, lineage information, genetic information, and listing details and to ask any questions they consider important before purchasing the animal.
Nothing in this policy is intended to excuse an inaccurate or knowingly misleading description. Big Stretch Reptiles will make a good-faith effort to accurately disclose the information known to us at the time an animal is offered for sale.
SEX OF ANIMALS
Big Stretch Reptiles makes every reasonable effort to accurately determine the sex of animals offered for sale. Unless an animal's listing specifically states that its sex is unknown, uncertain, or not guaranteed, the animal will be represented according to our good-faith determination of its sex at the time of sale. Sex determinations involving very young animals or species for which reliable sex determination is difficult may be specifically identified as uncertain in the individual listing.

PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS
Payment must be received in full before an animal is shipped.
If Big Stretch Reptiles agrees to accept a deposit to hold an animal, the deposit is non-refundable if the buyer cancels or backs out of the purchase, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
If Big Stretch Reptiles is unable to fulfill the sale, amounts paid toward that sale will be refunded as appropriate.
Any payment-plan or hold arrangement must be agreed upon before payment is submitted.

REPTILE SUPPLIES & DRY GOODS
Reptile supplies and other non-live merchandise are subject to different return rules than live animals.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, contact Big Stretch Reptiles promptly after delivery and provide photographs of the item and packaging when requested.
Because some products sold through Big Stretch Reptiles may be fulfilled and shipped directly by one of our authorized distributors, orders may arrive in separate packages and shipping times may vary.
Do not return merchandise to the manufacturer, distributor, or return address shown on a package unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
For an eligible return, the item must generally be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Products that have been opened, used, contaminated, or exposed to animals may not be returnable for health and sanitation reasons.
Returns of non-defective merchandise may be subject to original and/or return shipping costs where permitted by law.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders for physical merchandise may be canceled before fulfillment when possible.
Once an order has entered processing or has been shipped by Big Stretch Reptiles or one of our fulfillment partners, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Live-animal purchases are governed by the separate live-animal cancellation and deposit provisions above.
SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT OF SUPPLIES
Some merchandise is stocked or shipped by third-party distributors on behalf of Big Stretch Reptiles. Therefore, products within the same order may be shipped separately and may have different tracking numbers or delivery dates.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Carrier delays and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.
LEGAL & SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Customers are responsible for ensuring that an animal or product they purchase may legally be possessed and received at their location.
Big Stretch Reptiles reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when shipment or possession would violate applicable federal, state, or local law or when we determine that shipment cannot be completed safely.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts having lawful authority over the dispute, subject to any rights or procedures that cannot lawfully be waived.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

NO WAIVER

Failure by Big Stretch Reptiles to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Changes will become effective when the revised Terms & Conditions are posted on the website with an updated effective date, unless otherwise required by law.

Changes will not retroactively alter the material terms governing a completed transaction where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
